To show how to hold the wood correctly, demonstrating which side is weighted. To experience rules needed to play Short Mat Bowls. To learn and to improve Basic skills: forehand, backhand, bowl bias, techniques for handling and releasing bowl. Game strategies. Scoring. Competitive play. Improved confidence and personal development.
