Raising awareness of ADHD

Are you seeking an opportunity to gain some basic knowledge and understanding of ADHD? Are you working or going to work with children who have ADHD and would you like to understand what this condition is and how to support the child? The Raising Awareness of ADHD, a one day workshop, is a great way to achieve that. You will learn what ADHD is, its characteristics, the barriers it creates and how to overcome them. This will provide you with a better awareness of how to best support children with ADHD in their behaviour and learning both at home and at school. You will also learn what resources are available to support children/adults with ADHD and resources to enable you to deepen your knowledge. A perfect learning opportunity to contribute to your continuous professional development. This course has a progression route and you are welcome to explore the topic further when signing up for 5 week course: Understanding and Supporting Children with ADHD in the School Setting.
