Glasswork - introduction - beginners

Have you ever wanted to try working with glass. If yes, then this course is the one for you. With the support of a specialist tutor/artist, you will learn how to cut glass into neat shapes safely, design and make a stained glass sampler, understand the difference between lead light and copper foil.

These may include: observation, completion of Individual Learning Plan which will be updated regularly, evaluation of work samples, question and answer sessions, photographs of projects to record achievement presented on iCEL. Entry requirements

A small charge is included in the fee for basic materials and where appropriate a charge has been included for use of specialist equipment. Learners will be expected to purchase drawing equipment, all glass, lead, coloured pencils, base boards and tracing paper. This will be discussed with the course tutor and will not be covered in the course materials fee. Please do not purchase anything before your first lesson unless requested to do so. No liability can be accepted for expenses incurred for a course cancelled/altered at short notice.
