This course will equip students with the essential skills and knowledge for future study or a career in sport. It offers the chance to gain a qualification on a more practical level. Students can do the Certificate ( equiv to one A Level), the Diploma (equiv to two A Levels), or the Extended Diploma (equiv to three A Levels). Some of the topics covered are: Anatomy & Physiology, The Physiology of Fitness, Assessing Risk in Sport, Fitness Training and Programming, Sport Coaching, Sport Development, Rules Regulation & Officiating.
