This Apprenticeship is primarily aimed at individuals whose job role is dedicated to customer service and where the qualification will compliment an individual's technical skills, for example intermediate apprentices may be employed in hairdressers, estate agents, nurseries or florists. Typical job roles include receptionists and customer service advisers. Each framework will include the main aim which will be the Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Customer Service and the Technical Certificate which will be the Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service (Intermediate Level). All of the frameworks will include functional skills* in Maths and English, Employee Rights and Responsibilities and Personal Learning and Thinking Skills which will be integrated within the assessment process.
