The Business Administration Advanced Apprenticeship is made up of qualifications and learning that will provide apprentices with the skills and knowledge required to become competent in their chosen job role. Advanced Apprentices will work in roles such as Administration Team Leaders, Personal Assistants and Administration Executives. As an Apprentice you will receive on the job training at your workplace and support in the workplace from your assessor. Additional training may be necessary on a day release basis at Boston College. The Apprenticeship framework consists of several elements which have been identified by employers to ensure Apprentices have an appropriate set of business administration skills to operate in their specific chosen job role. A competency based qualification at Level 3 - NVQ Certificate (Level 3), A knowledge based qualification at Level 3 - Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (Level 3), Functional skills (Maths, English and ICT), Employment Rights and Responsibilities, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills. All of the above will be integrated within the assessment process.
