This Apprenticeship is ideal for those new to working within the sport/leisure facility. Apprentices will develop skills within a customer facing role in the sport and active leisure environment. Apprentices will be given responsibility for the preparation and general safety of areas and cleaning duties within a sport and recreation facility. Qualification relevant for job roles: • Recreation Assistant Qualifications gained during the Apprenticeship include: • NVQ Certificate in Active Leisure, Learning and Wellbeing Operational Services • Certificate in Leisure Operations • Functional Skills if required

Name: Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Active Leisure, Learning and Wellbeing Operational Services (Leisure Ops) Qualification title: NVQ Certificate in Active Leisure, Learning and Well-being Operational Services (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Apprentices receive on the job training, working alongside professionals to gain relevant experience within the leisure industry. You will also have the opportunity to achieve nationally recognised qualifications and earn a weekly wage. You will be assigned a tutor who will visit you whilst at work, and who will guide and support you through your apprenticeship. They will work closely with you and your manager to ensure you have all the necessary aids you require to complete your apprenticeship. Continuous assessment.
