What do I study? You will study four areas in this subject, anatomy and physiology, acquiring movement skills, socio-cultural studies relating to participation in physical activity and acquiring, developing and evaluating practical skills in Physical Education. What is unique about this subject? This subject will allow you to develop knowledge and understanding of physical activity and performance, in relation to your own physical activity and healthy lifestyle, and sport in a wider context. You will have the opportunity to apply theory to practical performance and develop your potential in a number of activities. What skills will I develop? The course will enable you to become informed and discerning decision makers in relation to your own and others' involvement in sporting activities. You will develop the ability to critically evaluate and plan for the improvement of a sporting activity, and increase your physical competence.
