Over the three years youll study the following modules: developing business skills business finance culinary operations managing the service encounter in culinary arts entrepreneurship personal and professional development (including placement) legal environment gastronomy managing research and information human resource management management techniques A five-month industrial placement period during the course gives you first-hand experience of working in the industry. Our students visit a wide range of establishments throughout the world, or arrange their own placements closer to home. There are opportunities to attend study tours abroad, most recently to Disneyland Paris, as well as an annual calendar of local and national visits designed to enhance your studies. In recent years our students have had the opportunity to talk to Jamie Oliver, Marco Pierre White and Sat Bains who have all visited the college and spent time sharing their experiences with our students.
