This course specialises in the artistic and creative aspects of animation production. It is designed for the concept creator and 2D/3D animator with an eye for quality visual and conceptual development. Youll need strong abilities in drawing, visual research and time-based concept origination, as well as an ability to learn the computer techniques required for animation production and editing. Year one lays the groundwork for the innovative exploration of ideas. Year two offers you the chance to gain professional experience through involvement with client briefs and professional work. The course will culminate in the proposition and execution of your own design brief which will be displayed in an end of year show. Year one modules include: graphic design and illustration animation and games design web design and delivery interactive multimedia applications visual culture sound and moving image Year two modules include: professional practice critical review studio practice final major project proposal and research final major project resolution
