Light Vehicle Maintenance, Diploma Level 1

This one year course aims to help students learn about vehicle technology, vehicle maintenance/ repair and will prepare them for a career in the industry. It involves modules that include the theory and practical maintenance of light vehicles, component removal/replacement, fault diagnosis, vehicle electrics, workshop skills and Health and Safety. PROGRESSION This course could lead to work-based training (Apprenticeship) over 2 years or the Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles over one year.
