L10C01C: The aim of this course is to explore the History of Sussex from the Anglo-Saxon Settlements around 500 A.D. to the Stuart kings of the 1600s including the early Kingdom of Sussex, the Norman Conquest, the Black Death, the Protestant Reformation, and the English Civil Wars. This course has no formal level; it is for everyone with an interest in this subject.

Name: HISTORY - A THOUSAND YEARS OF SUSSEX HISTORY Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, History Qualification type: Assessment You will be asked to complete an Individual Learning Record (ILR) at the beginning of the course/workshop. The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
