GUITAR ACOUSTIC - BEGINNERS

S09C27D: This course aims to introduce students to the basics of guitar playing, starting with just a few chords and different strumming & finger style patterns. Students will progress onto playing along to a variety of songs in their chosen theme and develop the confidence of the style. The course is for beginners and for those wishing to play a few chords, as well as accompany singing voices. Students will not be expected to learn a great deal of theory/detail.

The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
