M04C01F: This course is designed to promote safe and sustainable practices, aiming to identify common faults that develop either through long term low usage or with everyday use of the bike; to develop knowledge on how to carry out a basic service on your bike and to carry out minor repairs. This course is for cyclists who wish to keep their bikes in good running order and aimed at beginners in cycle maintenance.

Name: BICYCLE MAINTENANCE - BEGINNERS Qualification title: Non regulated Community Learning provision, Transportation Operations and Maintenance Qualification type: Assessment You will be asked to complete an Individual Learning Record (ILR) at the beginning of the course/workshop. The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
