S09C35F: To provide a basic awareness of carving wood in the round (3D); To give the students the skills and confidence to create their own carving. This course is designed for those looking to develop their creativity in a supportive group environment. Students that have little, or no, knowledge/skill in woodcarving, but are keen to learn. Students that have carved in the past and require a refresher course.

The ILR is a way for you to identify your strengths, challenges and interests and set your own personal targets. This, in turn, will inform the tutor of your starting point and ensure you get the best out of your course. With your tutor you will revisit the ILR regularly so that progress and further actions can be discussed, agreed and recorded.
