C03C08F: The course aims to provide students with an insight into the traditional method of Coppicing, showing method and reason, also what is achievable from cutting hazel in a managed copse. The course is for anyone with an interest in the traditional craft of sustaining a copse. It is a course for leisure interest, suitable for all levels. You do not need to own a copse; a general interest is sufficient. This will show how a neglected area can be restored.
