Indian Spices

Our qualified tutor will guide you through the methods of cooking delicious Indian dishes using various different Indian spices. You will learn about the most useful key spices, the different spices and how to grind and prepare your spices, ready to make a curry. You will prepare and cook all the dishes under the guidance of the tutor who will also give demonstrations beforehand. By the end of the course you will have a portfolio of Indian recipes using key spices so you can cook them individually at your leisure. Part of the first session will be devoted to the teacher demonstrating recipes along with handouts. You will learn how to use the key different spices in various Indian dishes and gain the confidence to cook recipes in your own kitchens. Here is a sample of Indian dishes to be covered on this course: Garam Masala mix Chick Tikka Masala Mix vegetarian biryani Onion Bhajjis Fish Curry Chick pea curry You will need to purchase the ingredients for each session and bring an apron, tea towel and container/s to take the food home. For some of the dishes you may need to bring appropriate pans or dishes in which to cook them, as advised by the tutor.
