Ceramics Throwing - Beginners/Post Beginners

Your course aims to teach you how to make pots using the potter s wheel. It is for complete beginners or for those with a little experienceYou will be taken step by step through the techniques of how to make simple bowls, mugs and jugs on the potter s wheel. You will also learn how to make and attach handles and how to decorate and glaze your pieces. You will be encouraged to keep a working journal of inspirational material, technical notes and sketches. You will be taught by a mixture of regular demonstrations and practical individual help and guidance. Throwing on the wheel is a skill which requires plenty of practice, but once mastered is extremely rewarding and satisfying.
