Making a photograph of a breathtaking view or a dynamic cityscape can often fall short of how you remember it. This course will help you bridge the gap between your experience and the image that you capture, teaching you how to manage and relate to the technical and environmental aspects of the medium. A highly practical course, the tutor will demonstrate the techniques which you will then put into action for yourself, allowing you to bring everything together by the end of the program. The course will guide you through key aspects and techniques in lanDSCape, whether you are interested in natural or urban lanDSCapes. Each week a new element will be introduced, allowing you develop your skills steadily and affectively. As well as getting you more familiar with the settings on your camera, over the five weeks you will become more confident in understanding light, composition, environment and other vital elements in this captivating genre of the medium. Working with a still subject creates a great platform from which to develop your understanding and practical application of photography. Our lanDSCape course embraces a considerate and reflective approach to the process of working with the world around us. Though a healthy mixture of visual and practical work, the course will introduce you to some of the masters of the genre and provide you with hands on assistance in making more successful lanDSCapes.
