Learning the Stanislavski Method

This is an introductory acting class based on Stanislavsky's method and Michael Chekhov technique. Course aimed at awakening actor's imagination, emotional memory and stage awareness, Relaxation as the means of realising actual, vital energy resources. Stage awareness, The five senses. Sense memory. Emotional memory and emotional awareness. Imagination and action. Partner and stage interaction. Given circumstances. The Action. Stage improvisation. Exploring text and character. Understanding Initial event and main event. Students will be working on the scenes from Anton Chekhov play The Seagull using the Stanislavsky Method of Active Analyses: Etude (physical realisation of the episode with several impromptu words).
