Commercial and Jazz Dance mixed ability

Enjoy watching musical theatre and love the style of dancing? Want to gain new skills or improve your fitness? Our Jazz dancing course is fun and suitable for any learner, either new or returning and wanting to refresh previous learnt skills. You will learn new rhythms and steps that can be used to create your own dances as well as some routines in class. The tutor will use infusions of various styles and beats to get you moving creatively as a class and an individual. Expect to enjoy some classic and new songs, with creative moves and some new inspirations Our Jazz dancing classes focus upon learning new moves and gaining further confidence in performing as well as having a fun evening dancing to new and classic songs. You will learn new dance moves each week, as well as re-capping on previous weeks learning. Over the course of the program you will work on a dance in lessons collaborating your learning in a fun routine. Lessons will be taught practically with use of one to one, pairing, group teaching and demonstrations. Your creative input will be challenged as you learn to create and build upon your own style and contribute to your dance routine. For the class you will need comfortable, loose clothing (including appropriate support wear), a water bottle, Comfortable shoes. There are no formal written exams
