The ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) is a qualification run by the British Computer Society (BCS) that is universally recognised throughout Europe as an all round computer qualification. There are 3 levels of the ECDL; this is the 3rd and most advanced level. This is a classroom taught module of the ECDL Advanced (level 3) training course which culminates in the taking of the ECDL test. This enables learners to develop specialist skills in aspects of MicrOSOft office whilst moving towards the overall advanced ECDL qualification The module goals for ECDL are set by BCS. The advanced Excel Module has the following goals: Application of advanced formatting such as conditional formatting and customised number formatting and handle worksheets. Use of functions such as those associated with logical, statistical, financial and mathematical operations. Create charts and apply advanced chart formatting features. Work with tables and lists to analyse, filter and sort data. Create and use scenarios. Using validation and auditing tools on spreadsheet data. Enhancing productivity by using named cell ranges, macros and templates. Integration of data using linking, embedding and importing. Collaborative spreadsheets, reviewing spreadsheets. Application of security features
