M13A01B: This course is a nationally recognised qualification and will enable the learner to develop the knowledge and skills needed when supporting teaching and learning in schools. It provides the opportunity to demonstrate performance and underpinning knowledge and can be undertaken by employed staff and volunteers. It is either a progression from the Award in Support Work in Schools or can be taken as a qualification incorporating the Award units. You will require confirmation from the school of employment or their agreement to support you in a voluntary placement.
