To encourage parents to take on the role of educator in relation to sex and relationships as part of their role in the home. Understand physical and emotional changes that take place at puberty as well as the social and cultural attitudes towards sex and sexuality as it relates to children. Gain confidence and skills in identifying and responding to the needs of their own children as well as knowledge on contraception, child protection and related education in schools.
