Take woodcarving to a higher level and design and make a contemporary sculpture in wood. Use grain, texture, carved detail, colour and/or finishing techniques to create a work of art in wood. Course includes research, maquette making, timber sourcing, tool choice, construction, displaying and finishes.Beginners will be given one short project as an introduction (timber supplied at a small cost).All tools will be supplied.
