This non-accredited higher intermediate course will enable you to participate in everyday conversations using clear simple language, support discussion with descriptions or appropriate examples and understand the essential points in other people's conversations. Topics covered will enable you to participate in a wide variety of activities based on authentic materials. By the end of the course, you will have increased your vocabulary and be able to exchange ideas and opinions about a variety of everyday subjects, follow the main points in an exchange and develop a clear coherent argument, linking ideas logically and able to deal with unscripted questions and emergencies. You will be able to use more accurate grammatical structures including past, present and future tenses, express what they would, could or should do; and be able to talk for a few minutes on a subject of your choice, providing facts, ideas and/or opinions and supporting arguments.
