Soft Furnishing Workshop

You will have the opportunity to make samples or small items and learn techniques for soft furnishing which you can adapt to your own projects. Due to space restriction, full size curtains or furniture covers cannot be accommodated, but further projects can be explored by mutual agreement between tutor and learners. Examples of techniques explored will include those used in window treatments, cushions, furniture coverings, decorative items such as lampshades, bolsters, throws, etc. as appropriate. Exact course content will be agreed between tutor and learners at the first session and changes from term to term to enable progression.
