Introduction to your career in ICT developing the skills on hardware, software networks and all aspects of IT equipment. A Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At it's core are work preparation training, English and Maths for those who need it, and a high quality work experience placement. Traineeships help unlock your great potential and give you the work preparation training, Maths and English and work experience needed to get an Apprenticeship or other job. The Traineeship Opportunity is unwaged, although we offer weekly incentives of up to £40 per week if you meet targets, have good attendance and remain motivated. As part of your Traineeship you will be able to improve your: English and maths Self-confidence, presentation and communication skills Planning and study skills Job search and CV writing techniques Interview and employability skills Who are Traineeships for? A Traineeship is for you, if you: • Are aged 16 years old and over • Do not have a Level 3 qualification if you are 16 – 18 years old • Do not have a full Level 2 qualification if you are 19 years old and over • Are unemployed and want to get a job • Do not have a lot of work experience and want to develop your skills On completing your Traineeship you are guaranteed an interview at the end of your work placement. You could go on to get a job, an apprenticeship or go on to further study at a higher level.
