English Language A2

This course builds on skills developed at AS English Language and will allow you to explore in greater depth the structure and range of English usage as well as to evaluate the insights you have gained. This course is modular and follows AQA specification A. The two units which make up the A2 course involve the study of language change language and gender grammar and language and meaning. You will do a research project on a language area of your choice focussing on spoken language. It also asks you to consider the public medias attitude to language and write creatively on this.
