This is a vocational course that provides an alternative method of study to the traditional AS/A level Business course, but is a qualification of equal status. The course focuses on a range of skills relevant to the needs of modern businesses and a variety of topics such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Management. There is an emphasis on building up a portfolio of work, whilst also providing students with an element of choice often absent from AS/A level studies. It is useful both in terms of moving on to Higher Education or employment. Certificate leads to Subsidiary Diploma. 90-Credit and Extended Diploma also available.
