Law is an exciting and challenging subject that would benefit any student aiming to pursue a legal career or simply holding a general interest. A level Law is a wide-ranging course that introduces the English legal system, criminal law including homicide and non-fatal offences, and torts such as negligence, nuisance and occupiers' liability. We assume no previous knowledge of the subject, and the main qualities needed to succeed are enthusiasm and determination. Students may opt for the BTEC qualification rather than an A level is they prefer the coursework method of assessment. The Certifcate will have been successfully completed in the first year before enrolling on this course which is equivalent to one A level.
