Public Services - BTEC L3 Sub Dip (Yr 2 of Cert)

This is a vocational course that focuses on the uniformed public services such as the police, armed forces and the fire service, and a range of topics such as Psychology, Sociology, PE and Outdoor Education. It is useful both in terms of moving on to Higher Education or employment, with increasing opportunities existing within the public services. A variety of activities will be used to reflect the structure of the units and to enable you to get a real feel for the public services, for example discussions, guest speakers and practical activities. The Level 3 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma is the equivalent of 1 A level. In the first year students will need to successfully complete the BTEC Certificate before progressing on to the Subsidiary Diploma.
