You will study the range of financial services available to you, ranging from bank accounts through savings and investment to pensions, mortgages and insurance. You will advise two customers and suggest an integrated financial service package. You will consider factors that are essential for business survival, this includes cash flow forecasting, preparing financial statements and assessing the financial performance using those financial statements. You will also assess business performance using financial ratios. You will investigate the financial services available to businesses for example to help with starting up a business - this could be advice or providing financial support. You will also investigate the services available to support the growth and expansion of businesses and learn how businesses can restructure their finances.
