Human Health and Physiology GCSE

This course enables students to gain an informed insight into how the human body works, the structures that make it work and how to keep the body healthy. Key aspects of the specification include nutrition, blood and circulation and defence against disease. A wide range of material will be covered in only two hours per week and a high level of commitment from students is required to succeed. Integral to the subject is the development and use of practical skills relevant to the study of science. This course fully meets the needs of those requiring GCSE Science (for example, for teacher training purposes). Please note that this is an examination course.
