An opportunity to look in depth at how individuals who are on the autistic spectrum can be supported with a tailored, personalised and empowering structure to help them live life to the full. This course provides a range of knowledge and understanding about autistic spectrum conditions and explores theories and concepts about autism. We’ll explore the impact of these conditions on the lives of individuals and those close to them, and learn good practice in key areas such as communication and support. Delivery will include a range of media and activities and there’ll be plenty of time to discuss person-specific support strategies.
