Who is the programme for? Candidates 18+ who wish to progress in their Professional Cookery qualifications, who have already achieved Level 2 Diploma / NVQ in Professional Cookery. What is the programme structure? The programme consists of a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Professional Cookery, a Technical Certificate and functional skills. Either day release to College with some assessment in the workplace; or mainly in the workplace, with some study days at Trafford College. The certificate requires 56 credits. The mandatory units focus on health & safety, food safety and working with colleagues; the remaining are chosen to develop your culinary skills. Are there any special facilities/requirements for the programme? Practical assessments at College will take place in the purpose-built quality kitchen environment. What awards will I achieve?
