Children and Young People's Workforce Advanced Apprenticeship framework. This consists of: * Edexcel Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (QCF) - 500/9940/1 * Functional skills Mathematics Level 2 * Functional skills English Level 2 * Functional skills ICT Level 2 * Edexcel Level 2 Award in Employmeny Responsibilities and Rights in Children and Young People's settings (QCF) * Paediatric First Aid * Personal Learning and Thinking Skills Assessment and Recognition (PLTS). The Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce (QCF) is the main component within the Advanced Apprenticeship. The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of a Senior Care worker.It provides an insight into the principles of care and legislation of the sector and will aid career development. This QCF competence-based qualification is designed for those people who: * are involved in the Childcare sector as their primary work activity * wish to progress in the Childcare sector * wish to gain recognition of their skills and expreince in the Childcare sector.
