Children and Young People's Workforce Apprenticeship framework. This consists of: * Edexcel Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce (QCF) - 500/9940/1 * Functional skills Mathematics Level 1 * Functional skills English Level1 * Functional skills ICT Level 1 * Edexcel Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Children and Young People's Settings (QCF) * Paediatric First Aid * Personal Learning and Thinking Skills Assessment and Recognition (PLTS). The Level 2 Children and Young People's Workforce (QCF) is the main component within the Apprenticeships. The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of the Childcare worker. It provides an insight into the principles of care and legislation of the sector and will aid career development. This QCF competence-based qualification is designed for those people who: * are involved in the Childcare sector as their primary work activity. * wish to take the first steps towards a professional qualification * wish to gain recognition of their skills and experience in the Childcare sector.
