This exciting vocational course is designed to offer a broad look at the many aspects of the music industry with a focus on music performance. This enjoyable course will provide you with technical ability and encourages a high level of creativity. You will also develop your knowledge of music history, music theory, aural skills, composing, songwriting and music production. This two year programme is centred round you as musician with a view to improving and/or maximising your current performance skills, your ability to learn and explore new and different styles of music, improve your ability to work as a solo and ensemble musician, and to learn about the music industry. The course is designed around a number of music projects, such as live performance projects showcasing your work in-house and within the local community, composition or song writing tasks, events organisation and management and research assignments.
