Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship - Fabrication & Welding 15/16

UPDATED 20150603 14:14:36

Advanced Apprenticeships are a popular choice for young people aged 16 - 24 looking to become fully qualified in their chosen field whilst earning a wage. Your training will be directly linked to the career you have chosen, gaining practical experience in the workplace, backed up by attendance at college on one day per week. An Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering will develop your employability skills and give you valuable experience of a variety of engineering related activities. You will be working in a workshop environment where your duties will encompass advanced welding techniques. Your exact duties will depend upon your employer. Where possible staff from College Work Based Learning will assist in finding you an employer and a place of work (although students who are already employed are welcome to apply if sponsored by their employer). Your offer of an Advanced Apprenticeship will be dependent upon suitable work placements being available.
