This pathway is for students interested in furthering their performance skills and deepening their knowledge of the Music Theatre. Tutors include a wide range of specialists from The College's large, full-time Performing Arts team, supplemented by an intensive work experience project and a programme of workshops with visiting professionals. The course comprises a mixture of practical and theoretical sessions with a strong emphasis on integration of the two elements. Modules include Skills Development, and Techniques for Music Theatre and will involve Singing, Acting and Dancing. It should be noted that Musical Theatre, while comprising an important element of the course, is not the sole focus. Students will be continually assessed through a series of practical performances, written assignments and oral presentations.
