Beauty Therapy - Apprenticeship

UPDATED 20150603 14:14:32

Apprenticeships are a popular choice for young people aged 16 - 24* looking for on-the-job training and the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications whilst earning a wage. Most of your training will be directly linked to the career you have chosen, gaining practical experience in the workplace, backed up by attendance at college just one day a week. An Apprenticeship in Beauty Therapy will develop your employability skills and gives you valuable experience of a variety of routine beauty related activities. You will be working in a salon environment where your duties could encompass many areas of beauty such as communicating with colleagues and clients, dealing with customer enquiries, carrying out numerous practical beauty tasks, for example manicures. Your exact duties will depend upon your employer.
