Name: Plumbing Studies Level 2 Diploma (Part-time) Qualification title: Diploma in Plumbing Studies (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Practical assessment and module knowledge test.The 1st Year practical assessments will concentrate on safety, copper tube, soil and waste, and maintenance. The 2nd Year practical assessments include low-carbon steel pipework, airing cupboard installation and commissioning/decommissioning. Towards the end of the 2nd Year there is a 30-hour installation assessment (bathroom installation). Underpinning knowledge questions will be used during practical assessments to check the candidate's knowledge and understanding. You will be expected to maintain a portfolio of evidence in the form of a Practical Task Manual, which requires some written responses to be inserted.
