The CACHE Preparing to Work in Early Years Education and Care Level 3 Certificate prepares students to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. Upon achievement of this qualification it is intended that students will be able to progress onto either Level 3 Diploma for Early Years Workforce or Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care. Choice of progression route will enable students to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators or access Higher Education.From September 2014 the Early Years Educator Qualifications will be the only qualifications to confer a license to practice
