Entry requirements

Please do not buy anything especially for this course before checking with the Canterbury Centre, about a week before the start, on 0845 606 5 606, that is it going ahead. You will need to supply your own materials and equipment for this course. If possible, you will need to bring your sewing machine, if you have one already, there are machines you can use at the Centre, but it is best that you get used to using your own machine. Fabric and tools will be discussed during the first session. Students will need to bring the following to the first session: scissors, both fabric and paper scissors, ruler, pen, pencil, basic sewing kit and scraps of fabric for the first piece oif work, firm dress weight cotton is best, in a variety of patterns. The scraps do not need to be large, but no smaller than 10cm square.
