Entry requirements

: A folder or document wallet is useful to keep handouts. You may want to bring some paper to take notes during demonstrations. Patterns will be provided. For the first class please bring a piece of fabric to make a bag? size: 115cm-140cm wide x 50cm long. This could be cut from an old curtain or cotton garment. You may bring your own pattern but we advise you complete the first couple of weeks before purchasing any clothing patterns or fabric. You will need to provide your own fabric and thread to make the top and skirt? approx. 1.5 metres for each. You will need to supply your own sewing kit. The tutor will bring everything you need for the first session and give advice about what to buy. Sewing Machines: Sewing machines are provided. If you wish to use your own sewing machine in the class, please bring a copy of the manual and ensure it has been recently serviced.
