Students are responsible for the cost of their own equipment and materials. If you are a new student and have no materials, please wait for your tutor's advice on what to buy. However all students should bring the following to the first session: 2 pencils, 2 rubber bands, a sharpener, a soft rubber that does not smudge, a plastic ruler, masking tape (1 - 1.25 wide), 2 paperclips, scissors, a ball point pen. During the first session, your tutor will explain what equipment and materials you will need to make a start in calligraphy. If you wish, you can buy your first calligraphy pen and paper from the tutor for approximately 5. If you have done some calligraphy before, please bring your usual equipment to the first session.
