Entry requirements

Please bring on the day: a sketchbook and pencil, any small icing cutters you may wish to use, any material for texturing, e.g. small piece lace, net, leaves. Cost of materials, i.e. PMC, silver wire and sheet will depend on chosen project: precious metal clay costs approximately 33.50 for 9gms and larger packets may be available for approx 56. As a rough guide, 7gm-9gm of silver clay will be enough for you to make a pendant and a small pair of earrings. It is also possible to use copper or bronze clay, which will reduce the cost of larger items. If you have any beads you may like to bring them to class and use them in your completed piece. Cubic zirconias can be purchased from the tutor to add to the clay before firing. Your tutor will be able to supply materials at a discounted price. Please note that while on KCC property you are responsible for the safe keeping of your own personal property and items of work.
