There is demand for trained, skilled and motivated young people to enter the agriculture industry. There is an emphasis on combining traditional skills with modern technology/ legislation and emerging techniques. The course integrates practical experience with theory lessons both on & off farm and some work experience. You will gain experience in a range of agricultural skills through theory and practical sessions on the farm. Practical experience will be gained through a range of stock tasks, as well as being given an opportunity to select, prepare and show animals/visit shows and exhibitions. You may then choose to either progress to a Level 3 Diploma courses or move into employment. WRE Environmental & Land Based Business Intro to Farm Animal Production Intro to Sheep Husbandry Intro to Dairy & Beef Cattle Husbandry Participate in Providing Estate Maintenance For this course you will be attending our Waterfront Quarter, Taylor Hill Centre and Carr Head Farm.
