This programme includes theoretical and practical training in anatomy and physiology for exercise; a variety of cardio-vascular and resistance exercises and training methods; circuit training; gym instruction, including planning, reviewing and adapting fitness programmes to clients' needs; health and safety in a fitness environment; customer service; and motivational skills. You will be working with both able bodied people and people with disabilities, showing how you can motivate and evaluate different levels of progress.
